Approach
The same work, turned on someone else's systems.
Most of what is on this site started as a problem in one of my own businesses: a bill that was not real, an inbox that had been dark for a month, a confident instruction that did not survive contact with the actual screen. The work was the same each time. Find what is actually happening, refuse the tidy answer, and fix the class of problem rather than the single instance.
An engagement usually starts as an audit: an independent read of a system or a workflow, measured against what it is supposed to be doing, with the quiet failures named plainly. Where it makes sense, that turns into a build, the fix itself, tested and handed over, rather than a document of recommendations that sits in a drawer.
I would rather show the receipt than the explanation, and I build things so they can be caught when they go wrong. That is the standard the work here is held to, and the one I would bring to yours.
